Why can’t he say; “Hang on boys, I’ve got an idea?”
Ah, but see therein lies the joke. Not only is he saying “I’ve got a hunch.” in reference to his keen deductive instinct, but the word ‘hunch’ also doubles to be a reference to his physical deformity. I know, right? Genius.
